To and Fro

This week’s guest is Bogenschutzer aka composer/musician Matt Archer.

Matt’s two releases as Bogenschutzer document his attempts to make order out of sound – keyboards, piano, samples, percussive & toy instruments, are all channelled through a benevolent computer to create detailed and musical electronica.

Originally from Melbourne, Matt has family ties to Salzburg, Austria – as pictured above – and having recently released his second album “Simple City” to glowing reviews, he’s about to relocate himself and his music to Salzburg for a couple of years. Yes, the hills will be alive with the sound of Bogenschutzer. Before then, he drops in to To & Fro as this week’s guest selector, bringing in a couple of his fave local tracks.
